“My husband and I came here to celebrate my 50th, it did not disappoint! Stephan’s place is fabulous, out the front door you have Jordan’s supermarket (they have just about everything you need for daily use) out the back sliding door you are on the beach. The location couldn’t be better. The staff who tend to the apartments, Elenor and Suzette, are so kind and thoughtful. Jodee who manages is fantastic, great communicator and very helpful. While here you can’t miss going to the Payne’s Bay Fish Market, fresh fish everyday, delish. Go to the fish market and come home and cook it on one of the two shared grills, better than most restaurants. There is also a Massey grocery store in Holetown that has a deli, fresh meat and lots of other stuff you can’t get at Jordan’s. We went by bus everywhere it’s $2 (Bajian) or $1 (US). Note they don’t run very frequently on Sunday’s. There were people there when we were there that had a car but said it wasn’t always easy to park, so we preferred the bus. If you want to go on a tour they can pick you up in front of the apartment or a snorkeling tour will pick you up on the beach, the guys walk up and down the beach so they will come to you. All in all we loved being here and hope to come back next year.”

We usually stay in Glitter Bay but was unable to do so this time but Marilil showed us some other property’s and we decided we liked 19 Mountstandfast Plantation . At first I thought it was to far up the hill and away from town but was quite surprised when it was just as near, James loves the walks down to hole town and the locals driving by always offer him a lift down or up. And the villa is beautiful stunning views over looking the sea and well kept gardens and the lovely pool all to ourselves I’m sure our grandchildren will want to come here and stay.And our house keeper Paulette was lovely and friendly and comes in once a week to change towels and bed linen so well looked after and Melvin the gardener who does a fantastic job. We would recommend this villa to anyone it’s like home from home thanks again Barbadosvillaservices we will be booking this again soon!!!!

This is our fifth trip to Glitter Bay and our second with Barbados Villa Services. Whilst we have used other agents BVS have provided the best service in terms of food and grocery deliveries. They are very responsive with any requests which were e-mailed and on arrival, our fridge was perfectly stocked so need to worry about going the supermarket. Our apartment 204 was kept very clean and the housekeeping staff were very efficient. Garden, beach and pool areas are kept in good order. You are allocated a sunbed on the beach on arrival so no getting up really early to put towels on beds. Can thoroughly recommend Marilil and her team at BVS.

We have been coming to Gliiter Bay since 1999. The beauty of the beach and the splendour of the sunsets are amazing. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable and the level of customer service from Barbados Villa Services is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for Marilil. From the moment we arrive to the time we leave she ensures that whatever we need is taken care of.

This is our 10th year staying at the Glitter Bay Suites and this year we stayed in suite 109. It is a very nice and spacious suite with a large balcony, great internet and with a full housekeeping service provided by friendly staff. Glitter Bay is a very beautiful and peaceful place with great facilities and we love how there is always sunbeds available by the pool or on the beach. It is in a good position being close to some fantastic restaurants and shops. My wife loves going for walks or shopping knowing that she is so safe here and we love the fact that everyone is so friendly. We always use Barbados Villa Services as they provide a fantastic service and are extremely efficient and friendly from the moment we make an enquiry to the day of departure. We also love the fact that they try and avoid a booking on the day of our departure so that we can keep the suite on until we leave for the airport.

We have just come back from a fantastic week in Barbados, staying in Apartment 312 'Shells', Glitter Bay. The apartment was superb, fully equipped, really comfortable and immaculately maintained. It has two large double bedrooms with really comfortable beds, two large bathrooms (one en suite), masses of wardrobe and cupboard space, a fully equipped kitchen and great lounge area. The huge balcony is great for al fresco dining and overlooks the wonderful gardens. There are also additional comfy chairs and a sofa for those sundowners and relaxing evenings. The complex is so picturesque, large gardens, beautiful pool area and right on the beachfront. Sun loungers are provided and once you get your loungers on the beach they are yours for the duration of your stay, no getting up early to reserve them each day. There is a good little gym/fitness room within the complex. The on site bar area serves delicious cocktails and tasty lunches and is ideal for watching the amazing sunsets in the evenings. There are several local bars, eateries and fine dining restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Holetown is the nearest town and easily accessible on foot, either by road or a lovely stroll along the beach. The staff at Glitter Bay are so friendly, can't do enough for you and keep the apartment, pools, gardens, bar and beach area so clean. We would recommend Apartment 312 'Shells' at Glitter Bay without hesitation and will definitely be back.

We stayed at 310 Glitter Bay , we have also stayed during the last few years at several other Suites all booked through Barbados Villa services. We enjoyed it thoroughly and are going back. Beautiful beach, wonderful holiday, great location , nice and relaxing. Will certainly be back.

Fabulous 25 night stay at Glitter Bay. The pictures on the BVS website gave an accurate representation of our apartment and the resort and the 6 day a week housekeeping service made this self catering option feel more like a hotel. We were met at the apartment on arrival by the villa manager, Sara, who showed us around and was fabulous at dealing with the couple of maintenance issues we encountered- even on an out of hours basis. A welcome pack of basic food, drink etc. was provided, which was very useful following our early evening arrival and we were allowed a late checkout at the end of our stay, as no one was following us immediately into the apartment. This was a huge bonus. Our only real problem was that we really didn't want to leave!

We had the opportunity to spend 19 days at Glitter Bay! The gated community is spectacular with lush gardens, both an adult and kiddies pool, and the best beach on the island. Each unit is given an assigned spot on the beach and Rocky ensures all your needs are met from fresh towels, to cappuccino to the traditional rum swizzle. Andre and his restaurant staff are prompt, efficient and courteous. The food is good, the drinks wicked! Our apartment was a beautifully appointed two bedroom, two bath, ground floor unit with two huge patios. The fully equipped kitchen lacked nothing. With so many world class restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ride away, this really is a little piece of heaven.

We had an excellent and relaxing 10 day mid November vacation in this villa which is convenient to Holetown and the majority of the excellent West Coast restaurants. Well maintained and furnished, the villa has a homely feel to it and is bigger than we had expected from the pictures. In fact all the rooms are of a good size. The pool is gorgeous with views down the hill to the sea. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a choice of indoor and outdoor eating areas. The villa also benefits from membership of The Beach Club, adjacent to The Royal Pavilion Hotel, allowing access to the beach with bed and umbrella facilities. We would definitely return.
