The Glitter Bay Beachfront Suite 101 'Oceanside' is a two bedroom ground floor apartment which has been remodelled and refurbished and has approximately 1600 sq. ft. of living area making it bright, airy and very spacious.

The air conditioned master bedroom, with ceiling fan and electronic personal safe, is ensuite and has a king bed, cherry wood furnishings and leads out to a spacious patio with views of the gardens and the ocean.  The room is tastefully decorated in creams and taupes and lend a calm and serene setting to this spacious bedroom.  There is a flat screen plasma TV with cable and the ensuite bathroom has a curtained screened bath/shower combination and a granite vanity. 

The second bedroom has two separate double beds ideal for a family of 4 or two couples sharing.  This bedroom is also air conditioned with ceiling fan and the cream pine wood furnishings compliment the vibrant ruby and shades of creams of the soft furnishings.  There is a plasma TV with cable and a multi regional DVD player with a small selection of DVDs. The second bathroom located in the hallway has a curtained screened bath/shower combination and has a granite vanity.

The modern galley style kitchen has black flecked granite counter tops, large sink, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric counter top hob and an oven.  The kitchen is fully equipped with glassware, crockery, cookware, cutlery, pots, pans, bakeware and kitchen linens and has a breakfast bar with two high stools.  Here you can prepare your own gourmet meals or let the nearby patisserie in Holetown prepare your meals and deliver right to your door.  Alternately, being close to so many great restaurants, cafes and bistros there is never a problem regarding eating out, the only problem is which one to choose!

The living area is fully air conditioned and has a ceiling fan and has a very plush three seater sofa and two plump arm chairs.  The soft cream, whites and brown tones are enhanced by the dark wood furniture.  There is a second balcony facing the ocean which can be accessed from glass doors off the living room and has six seater wooden dining table and chairs.  This balcony is perfect for having a cocktail and watching the sun set over the tranquil Caribbean Sea.

The living area and the master bedroom both lead out to another spacious patio.  Here is a two seater glass topped dining table and two large seating areas which is also the perfect spot for sun downer drinks and pre dinner cocktails or for reading a good novel.  This patio has a lovely view of the gardens and even a glimpse of the beautiful blue sea past the colourful flowering shrubs.

 

GENERAL TERMS:The signing of the booking form confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions (see below).  It is understood that the client (person signing the form) has read and understood the terms and conditions (see following) as outlined at the time of this booking

RENTAL PERIOD AND OCCUPANCY:The rental period starts from 4.00 p.m. local time on the day of arrival until 12 noon local time on the day of departure as stated on booking form.  Early arrivals or late departures may result in additional charges.  The accommodation may only be occupied by the persons named on this rental agreement.

RENTAL PAYMENT:A 50% deposit by bank wire transfer is required at the time of the reservation to confirm and hold the reservation.  All reservations must be paid in full 9 weeks prior to the date of arrival by bank wire transfer or they are subject to cancellation without notice.  If payment is not received, your reservation may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.  No reservation is confirmed until the booking deposit is paid.  Bank details will be supplied on receipt of the booking form.  Payment is possible with Visa or Mastercard however a 5% surcharge is applied.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:A Mastercard or Visa is required for all reservations to act as a security guarantee of USD500.  This credit card may be charged to cover extra accommodation costs or loss or damage to the rental property in excess of normal wear and tear during the period of rental.  The property should be left reasonably clean and undamaged on check out.  If the property is not left in a suitable condition, it may be necessary to charge the credit card being held as guarantee for costs to cover extra cleaning, damage or repairs.

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS:The Owners and/or Managing Agent of the Property accept no responsibility whatsoever for the death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal property and/or belongings however caused.  The use of all accommodations and amenities, including the swimming pool, and all other facilities is entirely at the users risk.  Children must be supervised at all times by responsible adults.  The Owners and/or Managing Agent cannot accept any liability for any loss of rental time due to travel problems, flight delays, cancellations, industrial disputes, weather related events including hurricanes or any event out of our control.  The Owners and/or Managing Agent cannot accept any liability for failure of public supplies/utilities such as water, electricity, phone service, internet service, cable TV service.  Nor do we accept liability for the consequences of the actions or omissions of others that may supply or control main services, or any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which there is no control.

GOVERNING LAW:All reservations of the accommodation and the use and occupancy of such accommodation shall be governed by the laws of Barbados.  All disputes between Owners and/or Managing Agents and renters shall be subject to the jurisdiction and laws of Barbados.  The Management Company acts on behalf of the Owners.

CANCELLATION:All cancellations must be received in writing and confirmed.  In the event that a client cancels a reservation, or the Owners and/or Managing Agent have to cancel a reservation due to non-payment of the balance due within the time allowed before arrival, cancellation charges will be made as follows:

 

  • More than 9 weeks prior to the arrival date:  25% of the full rental amount
  • Between 9 and 7 weeks prior to arrival date:  50% of the full rental amount
  • Less than 7 weeks prior to arrival date, no shows or short stays:  100% of the full rental amount. 
  • Any refund due will be less all bank and credit card charges including bank rates of exchange and commissions
