Nestled among the lush gardens of Glitter Bay you will find these beautifully appointed one, two and three bedroom apartment beach front condos which make an ideal holiday home for families, couples or friends sharing.  The all suite property, formerly The Fairmont Glitter Bay Resort, is located on one of the best beaches on the west coast of Barbados and is next door to The Fairmont Royal Pavilion.

Each unit is tastefully furnished to the individual owners taste and come equipped with all modern conveniences that make it useful for a self catering style holiday.  The Glitter Bay Suites location is so close to Holetown that you will be spoilt for choice with the array of quality eating establishments from beach bars to fine dining.  Coupled with shopping malls, banks, supermarket, post office, 24 hour convenience stores to name a few, makes Glitter Bay an ideal base for your Barbados holiday.

Glitter Bay Suites 308 'Sunset' is one bedroom third floor apartment which has been remodeled and refurbished and has approximately 800 sq. ft. of living area with an open plan living area making it bright and airy.

The air conditioned bedroom, with plantation style ceiling fan, is carpeted and has a king bed with upholstered headboard and wood furnishings.  The soft furnishings are pastel green and creams and lend a calm and tranquil setting to this spacious bedroom. 

The bathroom is beautifully done with marble counter top, glass screened shower and has a single sink vanity lending a certain air of luxury to this space.

The kitchen is modern with Italian style countertops and cupboards, large sink, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric counter top hob and oven.  The kitchen is fully equipped with glassware, crockery, cookware, cutlery, pots, pans, bakeware and kitchen linens and has a breakfast bar with two high stools  perfect for that morning coffee. Here you can prepare your own gourmet meals or let the nearby patisserie in Holetown prepare your meals and deliver right to your door.  Alternately, being close to so many great restaurants, cafes and bistros there is never a problem regarding eating out, the only problem is which one to choose!

The living area is fully air conditioned and has a ceiling fan.  The banquet style seating is comfortable and there is a Indonesian style arm chair and coffee table.  The monkey motif on the soft furnishings adds to the tropical feel of both the living and outside dining area.  The living area has an elevated TV, DVD player and cable system.  There is a ultra modern MP3 player with radio and iPod docking station.  The balcony has a 4 seater teak wood table and chairs and a cozy two seat banquet style wall seat.  This is the perfect spot for sun downer drinks and pre dinner cocktails and has a lovely view of the gardens and a glimpse of the beautiful blue sea past the towering coconut trees dotted around the property.  The owner has added some lovely personal touches including electric candles throughout for that warm night time glow.

GENERAL TERMS:The signing of the booking form confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions (see below).  It is understood that the client (person signing the form) has read and understood the terms and conditions (see following) as outlined at the time of this booking

RENTAL PERIOD AND OCCUPANCY:The rental period starts from 4.00 p.m. local time on the day of arrival until 12 noon local time on the day of departure as stated on booking form.  Early arrivals or late departures may result in additional charges.  The accommodation may only be occupied by the persons named on this rental agreement.

RENTAL PAYMENT:A 50% deposit by bank wire transfer is required at the time of the reservation to confirm and hold the reservation.  All reservations must be paid in full 9 weeks prior to the date of arrival by bank wire transfer or they are subject to cancellation without notice.  If payment is not received, your reservation may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.  No reservation is confirmed until the booking deposit is paid.  Bank details will be supplied on receipt of the booking form.  Payment is possible with Visa or Mastercard however a 5% surcharge is applied.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:A Mastercard or Visa is required for all reservations to act as a security guarantee of USD500.  This credit card may be charged to cover extra accommodation costs or loss or damage to the rental property in excess of normal wear and tear during the period of rental.  The property should be left reasonably clean and undamaged on check out.  If the property is not left in a suitable condition, it may be necessary to charge the credit card being held as guarantee for costs to cover extra cleaning, damage or repairs.

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS:The Owners and/or Managing Agent of the Property accept no responsibility whatsoever for the death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal property and/or belongings however caused.  The use of all accommodations and amenities, including the swimming pool, and all other facilities is entirely at the users risk.  Children must be supervised at all times by responsible adults.  The Owners and/or Managing Agent cannot accept any liability for any loss of rental time due to travel problems, flight delays, cancellations, industrial disputes, weather related events including hurricanes or any event out of our control.  The Owners and/or Managing Agent cannot accept any liability for failure of public supplies/utilities such as water, electricity, phone service, internet service, cable TV service.  Nor do we accept liability for the consequences of the actions or omissions of others that may supply or control main services, or any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which there is no control.

AGENT/MANAGING AGENT:Barbados Villa Services is our agent at The Glitter Bay Estate.  They take care of the inspection services, maintenance issues, cleaning and other needs or issues you may have while staying in this unit.

GOVERNING LAW:All reservations of the accommodation and the use and occupancy of such accommodation shall be governed by the laws of Barbados.  All disputes between Owners and/or Managing Agents and renters shall be subject to the jurisdiction and laws of Barbados.  The Management Company acts on behalf of the Owners.

CANCELLATION:All cancellations must be received in writing and confirmed.  In the event that a client cancels a reservation, or the Owners and/or Managing Agent have to cancel a reservation due to non-payment of the balance due within the time allowed before arrival, cancellation charges will be made as follows:

• More than 9 weeks prior to the arrival date:  25% of the full rental amount
• Between 9 and 7 weeks prior to arrival date:  50% of the full rental amount
• Less than 7 weeks prior to arrival date, no shows or short stays:  100% of the full rental amount. 
• Any refund due will be less all bank and credit card charges including bank rates of exchange and commissions
