Glitter Bay 109 ‘Sweet Fuh Days’ is a two bedroom apartment located on the ground floor in the third block of the property affording beautiful pool and garden views and sleeps 5 with the existing bedding. Sweet Fuh Days can be rented as a one bedroom deluxe except at Xmas/New Year.

Glitter Bay offers large communal gardens, a communal pool with separate wading pool, sun loungers and umbrellas, beach attendant and towel service, a snack bar which offers drinks and bites during the day, two flood lit tennis courts, table tennis and 24/7 security. Just along the beach is Fairmont Beach Club, Ju-Ju’s and Lonestar. Holetown is a 5 minute drive where you will find local bars and restaurants, Limegrove Lifestyle Center with a range of restaurants, bars and boutique shopping, Massy Supermarket, banks, post office, petrol station. Speightstown is about 10 minutes away offering an eclectic mix of beach bars and restaurants, local supermarket and street vendors.

PLENTY OF SPACE

A wonderful family stay at the elegant 109 apartment. The apartment benefits from privacy in its end of block location and the accessibility of the ground floor directly to the gardens, pool beach and amenities. An exquisitely decorated apartment with great cooking and laundry facilities - also a particularly lovely dining area with plenty of space. We will definitely return to 109. Thanks also to the excellent Marilil and Sara for their assistance and great service delivery throughout our stay from Arlene.

CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK

Our stay at Glitter Bay was very comfortable and relaxing…..just what we needed! The apartment was in a perfect location with easy access to the pool and beach, and close to great restaurants and activities. Thank you for a great stay. We can’t wait to come back!

COULD HAVE EASILY STAYED LONGER

What a perfect location apartment 109 is!! Seconds from the beach and the warm Caribbean Sea. We stayed at the start of the season so felt like we had the place to ourselves so unbelievably quiet. The neutral colours in the apartment and great bathrooms (powerful showers too) are refreshing for the Caribbean. We stayed a week, but could have easily stayed longer. The onsite restaurant only opens for drinks on Sunday so bear that in mind. It’s worth checking daily what time the bar stays open until, usually 6pm (food arrived until 2.30 ish) There are places in walking distance to eat and drink for lunch but failing that a taxi will work for evening. Or if you have a car that gives more flexibility. I’d highly recommend this apartment

BEAUTIFUL, SPACIOUS, WELL DECORATED

We stayed at Marilil's for a week with my family of 4. The space was beautiful; spacious, well decorated and it had everything we needed. The property is so nice...gorgeous landscaping, the beach is amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had no issues at all and would go back tomorrow if we could. Sara and Perry were so helpful with cabs, testing, etc.

As good as the photos

As good as the photos Unlike many holiday destinations 109 lived up to, and even exceeded its photo images. The apartment was full of personal bric a brac which made it feel like a home. All the equipment was modern and in good condition. Our only minor comment would be the wet rooms - but I guess that is a matter of personal taste. The little sparrow shown in the photos was a welcome daily breakfast visitor. The gate from the terrace to the extensive Glitter Bay grounds made the apartment feel more like a villa. We rarely used the front door. Glitter Bay is a fabulous understated resort with extensive amenities and the best beach on the West coast. The pre booked beach chairs system works well relieving the tension about securing chairs. All the staff were excellent, particularly Rocky, who was in charge of beach chairs and towels and made the best rum punch on the island. Our only regret was that during our last week the bar stopped serving lunch. The bar during Happy hour was a great venue from which to watch the setting sun. Glitter Bay is well located being within walking distance of Holetown either by the road, or at low tide, the beach. There is an excellent supermarket (Massy) in Holetown serving all needs. The bus ride back for $3.50 Barbadian (a flat fee to any destination) is an experience not to be missed. The drivers are better than the Le Mans start from the bus stop sounds. There are frequent buses both north and south from Stops just outside the entrance gates Also thanks to everyone at BVS for all there help and assistance before and during our stay at Glitter Bay. A special thanks to them for introducing us to Perry the taxi driver, who never let us down during the many taxi trips we took during our stay. As you will gather we loved our stay and when we return to Barbados there will only be one place to stay - 109 Glitter Bay.

BVS never disappoints

Stayed at 109 - Sweet Fuh Days - in April 2019. This was our fifth visit to Glitter Bay and our first time at 109. Gliiter Bay and BVS never disappoint. From the arrival and the 'welcome pack' of essentials (Banks and Rum!) to the ease of checking in (keys at the main gate). The location is excellent - right on one of the best West Coast beaches; an easy stroll from Ju Ju's, Lone Star and Top Deck. We have always previously stayed during the first week in June and found April (Easter Hols) to be a bit busier but far from too busy. It still retained that exclusive feel and it was a plus that the on site facilities, including an excellent barbecue on the Wednesday, were better that during the quieter June Low Season. We will be be back! Thanks for your excellent service, as always.
